Cheapest time to book summer flights to Singapore

Thinking about a trip in summer 2025 - does anyone know when is the cheapest time to book flights? Is it best to do it as soon as the schedules are released or closer to the time? And has anyone noticed flight sales with particular airlines?

I’d love tips for anyone who is familiar with this route! (We would be moving on to other places after a few days visiting people in Singapore FYI.)

Usually when they are first released. More dates available and choice of cabin. Waiting can be a bit cheaper if sakes are slow but if there's good demand, they go up.

British Airways sale in January is always worth a try in my experience - especially if you can be flexible on dates. I appreciate you may wish to book before then though.

So many variables. My daughter at uni in KL and found booking later to be much cheaper but looking at non direct routes including through Sri Lanka and Doha.

we’ve also flown from Amsterdam cheaper but was on two separate tickets so offers some risk.

Just a shame you have to fly with BA awful airline.

If you're going during the school summer holidays,I'd book as soon as the dates are released. For the last few years I haven't seen any sales that resulted in cheaper prices during late July/August and the costs have been fairly horrific.
