Is 11 nights too long in the Cyclades?

We are going to Greece this August. Currently booked for 7 nights. We could extend to 11 or 12 nights. Is this too long? Will we get bored?

We are visiting Mykonos (wedding for 2 days), 5 nights Kimolos, and flying out of Santorini but hoping to avoid staying as we dislike the place.

We’re going 17 nights, and have done for the past three years. Four islands, with car hire, and there’ll still be so much we won’t get time to see.

Are you getting your ferry and flight on the same day? Have you got a back up plan in case of ferry delays/cancellations?

We also dislike Mykonos and Santorini, but always stay overnight before a return flight. We’ve had a 6 hour ferry delay in the past!

Also, a day trip to Milos will be easily done from Kimolos!

Add in Naxos. Lots of holidays in these islands go there

Not long enough for me! You could easily add another island or two if you want a longer trip eg sone time on Milos or go to Folegandros. There are probably other options that will work as well. With 5 nights on Kimolos you may visit the same places a couple of times rather than go somewhere different every day but that wouldn’t bother me.

I have spent 3 weeks at a time and not been bored. Would be happy to stay a whole summer island hopping if I had the chance!
