Is Pefkos good for kids?

Thinking of a big family holiday next year to Greece with DH, DD (will be 4) and my parents (both late 60s). My DH and I have been to Pefkos before we had DD and loved it but being child free at the time, we didn't pay much attention to what was there for young kids! Does anyone have any info on what it's like for children and also any recommendations on hotels/ apartments, bars with play areas, activities etc? We'd like to go self catering and not AI if possible. She loves a mini disco/ face painting/ bouncy castle if anything like that is available? Would Pefkos as a resort suit the whole family given that we are several generations? Thanks in advance!

There were loads of kids when we were in Pefkos. We stayed at the Pefkos beach hotel which is really well located. I'm not sure if this is new or not but there's a kids play area. It wasn't unusual to see children asleep in prams whilst their parents were having a meal in a taverna.

Thanks for your reply. I don't think she'll be prepared to sleep in a pushchair whilst we eat but she's pretty good with restaurants generally, as long as there is plenty for her to do before/after! Yes I was looking at the Pefkos Beach Hotel and it seems very central to everything, did you find that meant it was noisy at night? Want to obviously be somewhere convenient but where it is quiet for sleep in the evenings!
