Which All inclusive have you been to where there is ample sun loungers in August?

I'm still on the hunt for an AI for us.
Every time I think that looks nice and it says it's a decent 5 star, I see Tripadvisor reports saying it's not, it's more 4 star, there are queues for everything and you have to get up and reserve a lounger. (Which I won't do out of principle)

Genuinely is there any nice AI out there where this doesn't happen?

Two places I went which were good were Pine Cliffs and Sun Gardens.

But I want to go somewhere new.

And another thing whilst I'm here, the reason why I'm concerned is I have been to a couple of places that were billed at 5 star, they definitely weren't and the sun lounger situation was pants.

Voyage Sorgun in Turkey. Absolutely loads of sun beds available on the grass area and beach. Poolside is slightly busier.

Liberty Hotel in Olu Denez. The food is fantastic. The scenery is stunning. Best Al I’ve been to in a while. I’d have booked to go back this year but visiting eldest in Dubai instead.

Next year though!

There's a couple of hotels now that allocated specific beds to your room for whole week so they are always yours! Try Cyprus

Sweetheart7 · 03/05/2024 19:07

Paloma Finesse looks like a quieter style of hotel and more laid back in Turkey.

Hugosmaid · 03/05/2024 19:08

Also Liberty has loads of pools so you’ll always find a lounger there. Then there is the many many on the beach …. Then there are the ones in the shade overlooking the beach which catch the breeze of the sea.

great hotel !

I’ve heard of this. I think this is one of the reason swim up rooms are so popular too.

Lyttos beach resort in Crete - no problems as sooo many subloungers at all the pools and in on the beach too

jeaux90 · 03/05/2024 19:11

@Hugosmaid is Liberty a 5 star like a real one? Been to many that say they aren't but really it's a 4

Blue lagoon village Kos is lovely, have you looked into booking swim up rooms?

jeaux90 · 04/05/2024 09:26

@ajdhpoqnavd I have looked at that, it looks lovely, but there is no private beach and I can't stand the hussle by people selling stuff.

@jeaux90 I've been a couple of times and it's a remote hotel, I'm surprised it's not a private beach because it very much feels like one, there were only hotel guests there from what I could tell (it's not an AI hotel where you wear a band, everyone is AI) and there was definitely no external people selling stuff.

There's a Facebook group, if you post on there, there are people who go every year, some times multiple times a year and I'm sure they'd be able to verify.

Also make sure you're not confusing it with the Blue Lagoon Resort I believe is in a busier part of the island.

@ajdhpoqnavd thanks so much for getting back to me. Much appreciated.
