Heated pool?

Hi all, I'm looking to go to Mallorca next April-in the school hols. Planning on booking a private villa with a pool. Will I need a heated pool in April? Will be travelling with my 5 year old daughter and I'm not sure what it will be like out there. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks Al 😊

We’ve been in late April and didn’t have a heated pool, it was cold, we could jump in for a quick dip as it was warm in the sun and the kids played for maximum 5 mins in it. If I would go around that time again I would try and get a heated pool but I think it’s difficult to find there.

Yes I agree, you will definitely need a heated pool in April if you want to use it for more than a very quick dip.

You'll definitely need a heated pool. The sea is also pretty cold at that time of year.

You even need a heated pool in June, I'd say. July OK.

You really need a heated pool anyway, even in July it was too cold to be in than for a quick swim, kind of pointless having a villa with a pool if unheated

Sounds lovely but you will need a heated pool. I've just posted something on this subject as we are looking to do similar in February!

You need a heated pool. April is still off season, it’s really not warm enough for a non heated pool.

I did book a heated pool but it got cancelled 4 weeks before we were due to go! I was unable to find another heated pool but actually although it was cold we still swam every day.
