Hi, borrowed a friend's ford transit camper for few days ( Friday going and back on the Tuesday)
Booked trencreek for the first night so this'll be our starting point.
Would like to spend 1 night in different locations and will need electric hook up and either restaurant or one nearby.

Bit daunting as dipping our toes into campervan hols.
Coming from Cardiff way so any tips on where to stay would be great.
Thinking of st ives, port Isaac, those types of places.
Will be using Google maps as our Sat nav,any tips to avoid narrow lanes in the settings too.

Thanks 😊

We are old hands at Moho life so hope you will have fun.👍

Good you have booked the first night but remember it is a BH weekend and if it warms/drys up then it could be busy so you may want to book the others just to be sure.
We are CAMC members and would never go anywhere on spec, plenty do I know but we like to plan ahead and have a definite booking (almost always CAMC sites).

Don't worry about narrow lanes.
As you have a Transit camper it will be little wider than a small car and no wider than an SUV. Just think, vans, lorry's & buses use these roads every day.
If it was a Moho then that may want more thought as it will be wider/longer/taller.

Thansk for your reply.
I really hope we enjoy it.

Just trying to work out a planned route so we're not driving and adding unnecessary miles by going back and forth. So many sites ro choose.

This site is excellent but no kids allowed

As its bank holiday weekend it will be very busy so often best to book, our van doesn't need hook up so we often use Park 4 The night app to find free places, many are at pubs who let you park as long as you use the pub.
A few times I have just walked in a random pub and asked and have never been refused but we do eat in them.

Definitely book over a BH. And do not drive into St Ives, use the park and ride.
