Brighton - Looking for camping recommendations

Hi!

I am looking to take my youngest 2 kids (16 and 12) camping in the May half term for a few days, and we are looking at Brighton. I don't know the area at all, so I was wondering if anyone can recommend any campsites?

I'd like to be as close to the coast as possible, and ideally not too far from Brighton itself. Within walking distance would be even better!

I'd like the camp site to at least have toilets available. Not too bothered about other amenities as we plan to go out walking quite a bit.

I want to be able to park up at the pitch, or at least be able to drive to the pitch to unload the car! I have a bad back so would struggle carrying it all any real distance.

Thanks in advance!

Housedean is on the outskirts of Brighton and is really close to the bus stop to Brighton and Lewes

Hi, I live in Brighton and Chalky Downs campsite is pretty much as close as you can get. There is a bus stop nearby which takes you into town in about 15 minutes or it's a short drive.
