Due to circumstance we need to take our larger buggy - baby jogger city mini gt (I think!) - with us instead of our usual micro-travel buggy which we usually take to the gate and have been allowed to take on board.
Because the buggy is huge we’ve decided to check it in and have a large bag for it, not the official and expensive baby jogger one, are we better leaving the wheels on or off?
If off, anyone any tips to protect the bit that plugs them into the frame?
Also, is it still worth trying to fit the travel cot (it’s a super slim one) and some nappies into the bag too or airlines more aware of that now? We used to take a car seat in the same giant bag, packed in with nappies years ago!
We're flying Ryanair one way and EasyJet the other of it makes a difference.
Many thanks!
