Advice please - complete newbie here re travel advice. Family of 5, the 3 kids are 16/18/19 (yes they all want to come!!)

Looking at Airbnb but no idea which area to concentrate on? Or anywhere to avoid?

Just trying to narrow the search down! Late June after GCSEs/A levels.

Thank you.

We’ve stayed in these apartments a few times - one management company seems to own most of the block. The apartments are clean and near the Ubahn and a couple of supermarkets. It’s about 1km into Alexanderplatz, so pretty easy walk, or 5 mins on the Ubahn.

Only two bedrooms but they have a big sofa bed. Otherwise, anywhere in Kreuzberg or Prenzlauerberg should be reasonable. DS was at a language school in Schöneberg and even though it’s a bit far out on a map, it was still pretty quick to get into the centre on public transport.

We stayed in Prenzlauerberg. Loved the neighbourhood - good local facilities and easy transport. Felt like we could have lived there.
