Family villa holiday - Spain, Portugal, Greece or Croatia?

Looking to book a summer villa holiday with DH and 3 DC (2 teens and one 9 yr old). We are considering Spain (perhaps Majorca?), Portugal, Greece, Italy and Croatia. Different family members have different preferences!

Would you particularly recommend one of these locations for a nice family holiday? Hoping for a private pool and to have interesting places nearby to explore, pretty towns/villages and nice places to eat out occasionally.

Not on your list but Ibiza. Near to Es Cana, Port Des Torrents or Santa Elulia would be perfect. We go to Es Cana (although stay in a hotel) but there are a lot of amazing villas, the teens can have a bit of freedom and some good restaurants. Easy taxi / bus or drive St Elulia which is very foody.
