Go on one "big" (10+k) holiday or 4-5 "smaller" holidays over a period of a year?

I think once your Dc reach 13 and above it's really hard to do anything other than one holiday! They are very often charged adult prices and certainly we struggle to find much within school holidays for 2 adults and 2 teens who need a full size bed and eat as much as 2 adults much below £10K.

I'd love to have a £10k annual holiday budget!

We're hoping to do two big trips whilst the kids are living at home. I'd like to do a safari and then either New Zealand or Canada. My OH is hoping for at least one ski holiday in that time. Otherwise our holidays are camping and visiting family. So I suppose based on that we're choosing to save for the big ticket trips over lots of smaller ones.
