Looking for recommendations for feb 2025 half term breaks..DH is a teacher so of course we pay a squillion pounds but I can't cope with another long uk winter with no sun.
Thinking Canaries or Egypt?
As it will cost so much I'm overthinking..possible bad weather in Canaries or food poisoning/proximity to war in Egypt? DIY or package?
We lived abroad for nearly a decade and recently moved back to uk, I'd forgotten the crazy school hol premium.

Been to Egypt twice (Cairo, Luxor, Nile & Aswan cruises), never had food poisoning, & neither did anyone else in our groups.
However, I'd wouldn't book just yet, wait until the M.E. situation calms down.

And yes wouldnt book yet, it seems to be much much cheaper than canaries too
