Algarve Help!!

I was hoping you lovely people could help me!

We are going to the Algarve this summer (have to be in Lisbon for a few days anyway), so it makes sense.....but where to stay???! And they all seem super expensive!

We are a family of 5 - two teens (16 &18) and a 12 year old.

I like luxury 😆, but it may be out of my budget this year!

The kids like a resort - and I think all inclusive may work out cheaper...but only if it's nice!! Any recommendations on where we should stay? Hotels/resorts/towns?

Lagos is a nice resort on the western Algarve, might be worth having a look there.

Have you also looked at the coast north of Lisbon? The coast at Lourinhã or further north at São Martinho do Porto are good places to stay.

if you’re flying to Lisbon then you could go north to the silver coast. Much more affordable.
