AirBnB, Renting a car type holidays

DH and I have 3 kids, 2 year old twins and a 4 year old. We weren't going to go away this summer but DHs grandma is insisting on paying for us to go away.
We would like to go to Europe and do a AirBnB with a pool then go on days out, first week or 2 of July preferably. Don't want it to be crazy expensive.

Was thinking maybe Como or Lake Garda?
Would be happy with somewhere either on a lake or near the beach.

Any ideas where would be best? Flying from Glasgow or Edinburgh.

I love Lake garda but think it might be too hot in July for young children. We went here in June last year with our 1 year old twins and 4 year old https://umbriawithkids.net/ and had a lovely relaxed week. Everything is set up for young families
