Luxembourg for a weekend? Is it worth it?

Found cheap flights to Luxembourg for the end of October. Kids aged 9 & 12. Would be a weekend in Luxembourg city. Is it worth it. The flights are far cheaper than any other airport for our dates & we've never been..

Lovely restaurants and yes some were v v expensive but we just walked around until found something we all liked and thought was OK price wise!

It's an interesting city, nice woodland walks, if you can do early to mid sept instead (you'd have to check dates) the Scheuberfouer is a big traditional funfair with local food

Went there for work just before Xmas. Two days. Trains all free. If not too cold lots of walks. Shopping not great tbh so good in that it saves money. Easy to get around.

Was goi by to say with the trains and buses free you can do lots of exploring

Definitely worth a visit. Luxembourg City was great. All public transport is free so easy to travel around.
