The best family holiday as single parent

Can anyone recommend a nice family holiday either Spain or Majorca? I am taking my 2 young children on my own so looking for an all inclusive with entertainment. I have looked at loads on Jet 2 but would like to hear from anyone who recommends a good family hotel.

I’ve just got back from Tui Flamingo Beach in Lanzarote as a single parent and can recommend.

Literally on the beach, and the beach is a man made cove, so gentle, sandy and not too busy.

Short transfer from airport. Loads of kids activities and a kids club.

My only issue was with getting small child to the restaurant at meal times, when he wanted to carry on playing. Think that’s a solo parent of small child problem and I’ll know to keep more provisions in the room for emergencies next time!

I'm interested in this too. I would love to find somewhere where other solo adult travellers chat and socialise in the evenings.

If you want good value for money, and the main point of the holiday is sun/pool/sea/sand, look at the all-inclusive places in Calas de Mallorca. The town itself is nothing to write home about (which is probably why the prices are quite a lot cheaper than places like Palma Nova), but the beaches are nice and the hotels get good reviews. There will be lots of other British holidaymakers with young children there.

Really appreciate your suggestions. I will have a look into the places mentioned. My youngest is 3 and eldest is 7, will be more of a holiday for them. While I will probably get a little break while the 3 year old has his afternoon nap 😂

It's not what you asked because it's UK, but if anyone's looking for a reasonably priced easy holiday in UK these are excellent

We loved the Zafiro Can Picafort. We had a swim up room which was amazing.

Get private transfers though! Otherwise it takes 2 hours on the coach as it's the very last hotel stop.

Solo parent for 15 years.

If you have a good budget I'd recommend going with Scott Dunn, best kids clubs and I have been to Sun Gardens Dubrovnik (nice room and apartments) and Pine Cliffs Portugal with them.

I did Tui Sensatori in Ibiza too, pretty good kids club but what she loved was the kids pool. Made loads of friends. Less my vibe but she loved it.
