Searching for Inspiration - solo holiday ideas needed!

I'm desperate to get away somewhere warm at the end of June for a week and looking for inspiration as a solo female traveler (35) so I'm appealing to the hive mind...

Ideally I'd want:

  • Walking distance to a beach (and maybe a pool)
  • Self catering or B&B
  • Somewhere quiet with a handful of restaurants/tavernas etc.
  • Warm/hot weather
  • Europe based and easy to get to (ideally straight flight and car/coach transfer rather than multiple flights and ferries etc!)

Basically somewhere I can sit and read, sun tan and eat tasty food for a week! I love Greek islands and Italy but would love go somewhere new.

Any fantastic suggestions or hidden gems?!

@Soloholidaysearch have a look at Lesvos. It's the third largest Greek island but relatively unknown. Very quite and full of local tavernas serving home cooked food for very small cost. We travel several times a year, mainly long haul but are returning for our 5th year! It's our 'fly and flop' and thoroughly recommend it. It's like Greece was 30 years ago but with Wi-Fi, air con and no crowds!

Bit of a wildcard suggestion but what about a Flashpack trip? Small group travel but great, I did one earlier this year. Get off the beaten track. They have Europe ones and I've heard the Croatia one is fab.
You can tack on a few days at the beginning or end to do what you want.
