Florida in December - what will it be like?

Anyone been to Florida/Disney in Decmeber before?

We are thinking of going over for a week when DD finishes school mid December - would be about 13th or 14th I think.

We have been a couple of times before, both times for a fortnight but in June and Augst.

What is the weather like?
And will be parks be horrendously busy?

I think that between Thanksgiving and Christmas is very quiet.

I haven't been in December but have in February and it was fab - about 20 - 25C and easy to just walk on most rides.

Thanks

Have been to Miami area twice in December - 1st time fab weathy, v. sunny, second time some lovely days and a very, very cold spell for a week, so it is quite variable but certainly doesn't rain much!

We've been twice in December.

First time (2004) it was unseasonably cool for Florida, but still pleasant by mid-morning, although it did rain Christmas Day (and it snowed back here.)

Second time (2007) lovely weather, apart from a dip of two days when it was bitterly cold, then warmed up again.

First time we were there from about the 15th, and the parks were reasonable through to Christmas Eve - busy but not manic. (We did other things Christmas week but were told that week would be busy).

Second time we were there from the 23rd, it was busy pretty much for the whole fortnight.

We went on Boxing Day 1999 - it was pretty cool, although we did have some bright, sunny days - just not overly warm.

Between Christmas and New Year was manic, but it quietened down afterwards.
