Anyone coming back from an Easter holiday that can recommend something for us for next year? 3 kids that will be 7, 5, 2 at the time and budget of around £15k ish. We want somewhere hot, good food, beach, pool etc and some activities for the kids. We have recently done Thailand which we loved with kids. Open to anywhere in the world really, want to book flights soon as we will try take advantage of airmile flights which will be released soon!

The stretch of coast south of Cancun in Mexico. We stayed at Akumal which was idyllic and spent two days at Xcaret.

What about Bali? We went to Seminyak with ds5 last April and had a great time.

Riviera Maya, we had open tickets to Xcaret meaning we could come and go as we pleased.

Believe me, I know! My husband is doing so well at work and getting some sizeable bonuses so we are using the extra money to travel. Putting aside about £22k -£25k per year so this will be our main holiday next year - probably 2-3 weeks!

Mauritius is a great option if you are happy to be broadly resort based. I would say 10-14 days max though (but just because that’s how long I can do in a resort!). Direct overnight flights and no jetlag. Could potentially combine with Capetown for a longer holiday.

Costa Rica? I'd avoid some Asian destinations as can be wet in some parts, check carefully. If you're adventurous how about Botswana for a safari then onto Mozambique for time on the beach.
