Hotels with family adjoined rooms South or midlands

Hi,

We're looking for a hotel with a family room but where the rooms are commented. Or alternatively an apartment hotel with buffet breakfast.

In the south or midlands somewhere either near a town centre or near activities for a 5 year old.

Have the staybridge suites chain got a hotel anywhere near where you'd like to stay? We stayed in one at Heathrow and it was great. The Buffett breakfast was amazing.
