Anyone been to Zadar (Croatia)?

If so, what's it like?

Thinking of taking my 16 year old daughter there after her exams. Is there plenty to do for a week?

We used it as a base to visit Plitvice National Park and the gorgeous beaches a bit further south. The old town is beautiful and there are some lovely shops and very good restaurants. But the rest of it is not so nice so you will need to stay somewhere near the old town. There is one nice beach just south of the old town called Kolovare. If you could find somewhere nice to stay between them it could be a nice trip. You could also get boat trips out to the nearby islands.
