Venice recommendatioms

Rraaahhh Booking.com have cancelled my accommodation - can anyone recommend any mid budget hotels in Venice at all please - just need somewhere to sleep and shower but would like to be central.

Try Eurostars Residenza Cannaregio. It's on the main island, in a peaceful location but an easy and pleasant walk to the centre. It's fairly basic but was quiet and comfortable when we stayed last year.

Hotel Casa Verardo Residenza d'Epoca

Hotel Casanova. Stayed there a few weeks ago. Really close to the main sites

Hotel Gueratto - very reasonable price and great location near the Rialto bridge.

Depending on budget obviously! It's cheaper the further from st marks square.

By the way it's not Booking.com cancelling it's the owner of the accommodation, I would complain to booking.com as they keep track of owners who cancel guests and if it's not for legitimate reasons kick them off the platform. (Wanting more money because a large event has been scheduled in the town after you booked is not a reason, this happened to me and they kicked the landlord off)
