Help me find a holiday destination/hotel

I honestly find holiday searching so difficult.
We want 5 nights away no more than 3 hours flight. Hotel/resort to be close to airport as our children are 4 and 2.
Want to go in May.
Need something that the kids will enjoy- was thinking Palma but all the ones I seem to like are an hour away from the airport.

Is that the coach transfer? If you get a taxi it will be much quicker.

Try flying to Reus airport - really close to Salou. There’s a water park shops and beaches working 10/15 mins of the airport. Ryan air

Bus stop right outside so no need for transfers.

Water temp is May will be on the chilly side.

Look at holidays near split or dubrovnik. Both airports no more than 40 mins from the airport :)

We had lovely holidays in Greece that age, in the Ionian islands and Crete. Flight time a little over the 3 hours but the transfers are generally short.

We're going to Can Pastilla in Mallorca. Literally a 5 min taxi ride from airport and Palma is very close.
Lovely beaches and a very good Aquarium (have been told) me and DD will visit this time while DH and DS do the tram trip round Palma.

Menorca and Ibiza are both small and if you get a taxi transfer, nothing can be that far from the airport. Try looking on jet2holidays, for information about family friendly areas, especially Ibiza, to avoid the club scene. You might find a free child place, and can usually upgrade to private transfers.

In Mallorca, we like Paguera, which has 3 lovely beaches and is about half an hour's drive from the airport. However, just about everyone who goes there is German, so I think you need to book independently from the UK - have a look on booking.com.

Oh good to know. I'll take a look. I feel like I've viewed the Majorca stuff a million times and just can't settle on anything!

Royal Son Bou is a half hour transfer

I'm a big fan of the Algarve and have taken our 3yo every year. So child friendly and reasonably priced. Faro Airport is 2h30ish flight.

How about Menorca or mainland Spain?

Benalmadena was our go to when DS was little- 20 min transfer from Malaga, and a long promenade that was easy to push a pram on/3 year old toddle along with lots of cafes and restaurants to stop off at. Lovely park in Benalmadena and great zoo in nearby fuengirola.
