USA car seats

Our DS will soon be going into the next stage car seat {stage 2} my husband travels to the USA a lot and they are much cheaper was thinking of picking up one there. Does the isofix ones fit in our cars? Does anyone know anything bout this or offer any advice?

isofix is a standard system - so if your car has isofix connectors they should fit. it does seem to be pretty random which manufacturers do it - our bmw has them but the mercedes doesn't (free on the bmw, costly option on the merc)

Yes US Isofix (called LATCH) works fine in UK cars

We have a US Britax seat and have used it in various cars

Yep, we have carseats bought in the US and they fit fine.
