Puerto pollensa suitable for 2 year old?

I'm losing my mind trying to find our summer holiday for June. I've been going round in circles for weeks. We love Majorca, we went to Cala Bona and Cala d'or last year but fancy a slight change. I liked that both had play parks go karts/bouncy castles and little rides etc which DS will love even more this year. Loved the bike hires at Cala Bona aswell. A nice beach is essential. Would puerto pollensa fit the bill? Is it similar to Cala Bona/cala d'or? Budget is around 3-3.5k for the 3 of us (hopefully get a free child place). Prices seem to have sky rocketed this year but I've found a good deal at puerto pollensa park and spa. Has anyone been to puerto pollensa with young children and recommend it? Will there be enough to keep a toddler entertained?

Don’t know the hotel but we went once a year when DD was small as family lived there. She was very happy but she was a water baby so enjoyed being in the pool or n the beach.

Very suitable, it's amazing you'll love it.

I'd consider an apartment for self catering over the Pollensa Park hotel though. So much choice for eating out in the town, and all very child friendly.

I've been most years I was 4 and my own DD (now 5) has been 3 times.

Any questions let me know!

Sounds great, I was also looking at playa mar which looks great for DS as he loves the splash parks and slides however it seems quite out the way. Is there much to do in the resort for toddlers, such as play parks/fun parks etc? Or what would you recommend? As we want to go for 10 days so a few activities would be great. We would likely to Palma aquarium but any suggestions in the resort would be great.

Take a look at Hotel Villa Concha if you're looking at PP, it's great for kids that age.

There are little play areas along the beach in PP too.

Very suitable, it’s where we are going with our 2 this year (will be 1 and 3.5 when we go). It was a toss up between Cala D’or and pp but PP with the pine walk and easy walking. We’ve rented a villa about 15 minutes walk from the port.

Alcudia is also a good choice.

We did a self catering house with pool in Puerto Pollensa with 3 under 8 (youngest 2 and then 3) 2 summers in a row and had amazing holidays!
Beach is lovely, lots of cafes/restaurants, there is a play park there iirc. We spent a lot of time in the pool!
I wish holiday prices had stayed at those levels!

Palya mar is lovely but is out the way. Probably a 20/25 min walk into centre of town for adults . A lovely walk but a lot for little legs.

Have a look at Puerto Azul Suite Hotel.

Aquarium is fab, not a lot of 'attractions' in the resort itself but plenty play parks - mostly on the beach. There was a soft play a couple years ago when we were least there but not sure if it is still there

Puerto Pollensa is a bit quieter and more genteel than Cala Bona or Cala d'Or, although everything's relative. The beach isn't the best in Majorca in that it is neither a pretty cove beach like you get in Cala d'Or nor a huge one like at Alcudia, but it's fine and certainly a lot more spacious than Cala Bona beach (although at Cala Bona you have the option of walking or getting a 2-stop bus ride to Cala Millor).
