Hi has anyone booked a hotel through Priceline where you can bid for hotels - and did you end up somewhere good/getting a huge discount? Looking for a hotel in London for next weekend, really want 5star but don't really have the budget so wondered whether to give it a try! Any opinions gratefully received!

We are going to canada in June & travelling to Seattle we have booked 2 hotels on priceline & the hotels we got look good judging by their reviews. Myself & hubby went to Vegas 4 years ago & done price line & again were happy with the hotel. We always bid 2 low to start & work our way up a little every time they reject it so far we have been lucky no complaints. It really is pot luck because once you have paid theres no turning back.Good luck

Thanks. I think I am going to go for it and start bidding - low as you suggest!

have you tried laterooms.com? They're usually pretty good at selling rooms cheaply, it shows the Hyde Park Premier 4* @ £62 for Friday & £65 for Sat, room total, which is pretty good.
