How do I move around with car seat and stroller

Hello
I hoping that someone might have any good ideas for how I can carry a car seat and stroller at the same time.

I am going to Greece in June with my partner, my son (who will be 11 months at the time) and his friends and we had to buy a new car seat for my son as the one he had that clipped onto his stroller is too small. I bought the Joie stages car seat and realised it is huge and I am not sure how I will go anywhere with it. The flights are not the issue because they will take the car seat and stroller at the gate but my issue is if I want to go to the town centre and I have to take a taxi, how to I carry the car seat and push the stroller at the same time. It doesn't fit at the bottom of the stroller and it is very heavy.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have looked into getting a waggon so that it can fit the car seat and my son in it easily but they are very expensive and I can't afford that right now.

Get a car seat carry bag that you put on your shoulder/back? Your partner can carry while you do stroller/baby.

But very honestly... it sounds hellish / madly impractical.

Are you planning to be take a taxi then lugging a car seat around all day sught seeing/ visiting restaurants etc?

If you MUST do thid: I'd either borrow a smaller carseat or get a doona 2nd hand or borrowed.

But realistically either you or your partner will have to stay back at accommodation as you wont be mobile lugging about a pram and car seat. So plan to spend a lot more time in the accommodation

OR change the accommodation so you ar ein town and only need a car seat to and from airport (if you do this airport taxis often provide carseats for the babies so you dont need to bring one)

I would get a lightweight umbrella-fold stroller that you can easily carry slung over one shoulder. I had a good one from SilverCross that was fine from 6 months, could be adjusted to lie flat for naps and I could easily manage it plus 4 bags of shopping (baby in a sling for transfers) on the bus. If the stroller is easy you can keep your hands free for managing the car seat?

Is the infant carrier definitely outgrown? They would usually fit an 11 month old.

It's definitely not practical to lug around a huge car seat and no one does that. You either need to get a taxi with one included (not sure if that's available), get a local bus or hire a car and use your own.
