I know it gets asked quite a bit, but save me from ending up in Dubai! Where am I missing? We will want a break as my DH will have just finished a big project and want some downtime together. Kids love a water park, I like a bit of culture.

It’s the wrong time for the Caribbean, so where else?
Thanks

Cyprus. Still warm, lots of things to see and do and plenty of resorts still open.

Greece is warm for October half term! I went last year and it was late 20’s in Crete (Heraklion area). Morocco is a strong contender too and obviously the canaries

Yes I suppose it’s deep into the med. Any recommendations of where? I’d quite like a bit of lookie lookie but not too much driving.

I wouldn't write off the Caribbean I've done it in October plenty of times and been fine.

I’ve had to evacuate from Florida, so I’m not that game for Atlantic hurricane season anymore. We were in Fort Lauderdale and my DH stayed (I flew out to work in Boston) and he said it was terrifying. The lamp posts were bent over, the skyscrapers totally blown apart with paper and rubbish spewing out, palm trees everywhere. I’d rather not risk it!

Ah no sounds awful! Barbados would be ok though - furthest east and out of the path!
