Help me book a week with DD17 at the end of August please

Hi

As the title says I'm looking to to book a week away with my teen DD at the end of August.

Looking for somewhere warm, so we can relax on a beach/by a pool, but also with enough to do in the evenings so we can have a wander, eat out etc & maybe a bit of culture during the day if we fancy it.

Budget is around 2K all in which I know may be a stretch.

But there are countless hotels on the coast. More food and culture and rocky beaches than any soul could desire. And all the people are indescribably cool.

Might as well add hotel info - as it’s surprisingly not expensive.

My second suggestion - a world away in atmosphere - would be:

Orkney.

This really would be a different pace of holiday. Would still be warm. Good place to hire bikes and explore the landscape and history. Plenty to eat, lots of pottering and relaxing to be done.

Ibiza town. She will love it.
