Narrowed it down to these two but can't decide between them - has anyone been to both and has a favourite?

Looking to book Mon - Fri mid May with a 2 year old and a 12 week old.

Cayton Bay works out about £50 cheaper and I like the fact I can see the caravan I'd be booking. Thornwick Bay looks newer/ pool looks nicer. Can't really seem to seperate the two.

We have been to Cayton Bay and really enjoyed it, the centre is lovely, site is clean and tidy and here is a lovely beach across the road, if you have a car it’s situated well too for lots of fun things to do eg farm park, Scarborough.

we do love a caravan site that’s at the beach.

not been to the other place so I can’t help you with that one.

We liked Cayton Bay too, though had a lodge with a hot tub not a caravan. The site was lovely and clean, plus lots nearby for days out. Highly recommend The Farrier for food too.

We're booked into Thornwick Bay for later in the year.

I have been to Thornwick Bay but only passed by Cayton Bay while on the bus to Scarborough. Was a couple of years ago I was there, it has a fab pool but quite a small complex but your kids are likely a bit young for machines etc..Thornwick Bay I found a bit remote for things but it is a nice area, I prefer Primrose Valley or Reighton Sands if I am down that way though Primrose Valley is more expensive due to all the facilities it has. I liked the look of Cayton Bay, it is much closer to Scarborough if you are visiting there.
