Safe and excellent kids club resorts

We have just returned from holiday. My 6 year old loves kids clubs. Unfortunately the ibe at our resort was very poor and very unsafe. They did not take a register if children and kids were leaving without them noticing. They did not do any of the activities advertised and sat on their phones. I asked where my daughter was and they said don't know has she gone to the pool. She can't swim , full on panic. Found her after 10 mins.

I would really like to know of resorts, especially canary islands that have really good and safe kids clubs. One that engage with them. My daughter is so friendly but couldn't make friends as I would not let her go without me sat outside (watching other kids wonder off).

Are TUI good. Do you always get a TUI kids club or hotel run one if you book through them.

Also a mini disco would be good.

Thank you.

My other child is 12 and loves sports.

No TUI are a bit rubbish as my experience of that is you have to hover over the App at 6pm to get your kids in. The club itself is ok.

Honestly if you can afford it the best kids clubs are with Scott Dunn. I went with my DD loads (I'm a lone parent)

Proper programme, safety etc
Divided by age groups.

We did Pine Cliffs and Sun gardens with them but plenty of other choices.

I have never heard of that company. Will take a look now. Thank you.

I have never had a problem getting my kids in TUI kids club. The staff are great and children are only released to the adults who registered with them and this includes a photo.

Sani in Greece. My DD loved it.

Aqueora suites in Lanzarote had a great kids club. I think some of the TUI ones have UK trained staff- Blue/sensatori maybe?

Mark Warner were very 'on' for kids clubs, as have been cruise companies such as P&O or Celebrity

Not my experience, I went middle of summer to a Sensatori and unless you booked straight at 6pm you were buggered which is why I went back to using Scott Dunn, maybe I just had a bad experience there though with TUI

Ikos are great, we also had a great experience at the Rubicon Palace in Lanzarote. Cruises also have great kids clubs if that’s your kind of thing.

Stella Palace in Crete
or Gran Castillo Togoro family and fun - it’s big selling point is the kids club in Lanzarote

Ikos
princess yaiza

vivalasviva · 06/04/2024 22:08

Neilson or Mark Warner

Princesa Yaiza in Lanzarote very safe kids club, sign in and out, kids always in sight in appropriate age groups.
Also for the 12 year old there is some pretty serious football coaching, tennis courts etc. Mini disco and entertainment too.

How old was your daughter?

We went when she was 5 and 6. They have a nice teen hangout as well, which I think is open to 12 upwards.
