Hi. I'm 60 next August and DH and I would like to go to South Africa. I'm really keen to see animals on safari, however there are many reserves and a bewildering range of lodges.
Can anybody suggest one or two? I'm less bothered about fancy accommodation but would love it be a bit remote and ideally near a watering hole to maximise viewing.
We would be spending a few days in Cape Town and the wine region then moving on to a couple of game reserves. Ideally less busy and more aimed at couples rather than families.
We're prepared to spend a bit on this part of the holiday and be more standard in the other accommodation.
Has anyone one here already been and have any recommendations??
