Direct Premium Economy or indirect Business Class

Going to fly to Hawaii next year. Because through tickets are so expensive and it’s so far we are going to stop off for a couple of days in LA or SF on the way.

We can either fly BA Premium Economy to LA from London or we can fly Business Class with Iberia from Madrid.

It’s then 6 hours from LAX to Kauai which we’ll book in economy.

Personally l’d rather get there.

Im not sure day business flights are as important as at night

If I was going to transit anywhere, I’d look at Vancouver instead.

Would suggest you go direct on BA to LAX.

Not the point, but how do normal ppl find the money for business class? Thousands of pounds, seems only ever achievable when employer is paying.,,,

I've done London to SF premium economy, it was absolutely fine. Business would have been a waste

I’d do direct in premium.

I’d suggest Iberia given the number of cancelled BA flights. My brother had his ba flight from LA cancelled recently

Both earn very well, do it selectively.

I tend to fly premium economy on daytime flights and business on nighttime ones, when I can afford to.

We've done LA in premium economy before and it was fine, I'd always go for it over an indirect flight. I avoid them unless it's absolutely essential and the only way to get to a destination
