UK break recommendations

Looking to organise a big birthday treat for 2-3 nights in August in the UK for 4 adults, 4 children. Somewhere within 2-3 hours of London. Possibly with a pool or a hot tub. Any recommendations? Or sites to look at? Budget of 1k max

Hoseasons? They have short breaks available, the site in Saxmundham, Suffolk, looks nice.

I had looked on Airbnb but hadn’t realised they then add on a cleaning fee and their fee. What seemed like a reasonable booking then added £200 cleaning and £150 Airbnb fee!

Boutique retreats is a site I have used a lot in the past.

But 2-3 hours of London really brings you down to a few areas.

If you want countryside I would go Cotswolds.

If you want beach I would go Camber Sands/Rye (Rye is so nice for food nowadays) or something cute like Mudeford.
