Does anyone use IT Luggage cabin case on Ryan Air

I'm flying on Friday and borrowed a max size cabin case from a friend. I have just checked sizes and realised it is very slightly over, the IT website says 57cmx23cmx35 whilst RA is 55x20x40.

Friend says she's used it all the time. Can anyone confirm?

Depends how strict they're being, what it actually measures and whether it will fit in the sizing cage, which is slightly bigger than the max dimensions if they ask you to do this.

I have an older IT case and it's probably 55.5 x 20 x can't remember but it's fine for Ryanair.

Unfortunately with Ryanair it might be fine but occasionally might not be and if so, it will cost £40 ish to put it in the hold

We are in the middle of a holiday using Ryanair and someone in front of us got picked out for trying to use a large rucksack and charged so they do check - I just bought a cheap rucksack on Amazon - they start from £15 so much cheaper than risking it! The flight was full and all lockers were in rammed and a small suitcase might be difficult to get under a seat....

Ryanair are notorious sticklers for bag sizes, I wouldn't risk it .

I used one like this and it's surprising how much you can get in it

I used a Samsonite that was over on RA. I knew it was so fully prepared to cough up but figured may as well chance it because otherwise I’d have to buy a new case. Got away with it on both legs.
