Hello so I'm due on my period halfway through my holiday to Malaga. I was wondering what the flight rules are with carrying norethisterone and taking it with me please?

The airline doesn't care about medicine at all. Airport security doesn't care as long as it's not in a syringe or a big bottle, in which case show your prescription. Spanish customs don't care about any sort of medicine as long as it's in obviously medical packaging. (Should you ever be prescribed something that comes in the form of a sealed 1kg plastic bag of white powder, it's better to have the precscription to be on the safe side.)

Take your prescription anyway though as you should be able to get it refilled in a Spanish pharmacy in case you run out. It's called Noretisterona which is the same word but Spanishificated.

Also of course take your GHIC and make sure you know where the nearest public health clinic to your accommodation is. You will get free treatment if needed.
