Windsurfing and sailing holidays

Hi all, I am looking to find somewhere to go during the Easter break in 2025 which is good for windsurfing (beginner / low intermediate) and sailing. It will be me and my DD (11).

There is one Neilson open at that time of year in the Canaries I think but otherwise it's too early in the year for the MW and Neilson venues (which is where we usually do this). Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you!

I’m currently near the Neilson Fuerteventura offering, it’s in an isolated location, I’m not aware there are sailing opportunities, it’s on the west coast - which mostly is considered too dangerous for swimming apart from a few places. Also need own transport from the airport.

There is Robinson Club here in Esquinzo, north of Jandia, they have catamarans and windsurfing - but as a veteran of Neilson/MW it’s a very different offering here, and the open sea is challenging and a different leagu, plus rescue boats not routinely out on the water…. (in 4 weeks we didn’t manage to get out at all). Predominantly German, despite speaking the language well ourselves, there was a bit of hostility…

You could look at other Robinson clubs though - say in southern Turkey at that time of year maybe? (Currently looking myself).

Thank you @VWT5, that's very helpful. I am spoilt by MW/Neilson and the rescue boats which can just come and get me when I can't windsurf upwind! I don't think I would be confident enough to go out without them there...
