Majorca or Ibiza - where?

Looking for a last minute one week break with the kids over Easter. I have been to Soller in Majorca and loved it but it looks quite pricey and I can't see any hotels with a water slide (!) which the kids would love.

Which bits of Majorca or Ibiza are nice without being naff? Kids will want a fun pool (12 and 9) but we don't want it to be really naff....does this exist? Happy to drive around so could be in a hotel and do day trips etc.

Ibiza I have only been once to San Antonio in my 20s - not quite the same now - which locations could I look for a hotel in?

Budget is pretty low but there are some absolute bargains out there...ideally we will go All inclusive or Half Board. Don't really want self catering which I know will rule out the real bargains!

It’s between 16 and 21c in Ibiza this week. Far too cold to use unheated swimming pools.

If your budget is low then you may have to be some compromises on the naff front, regardless of how you define naff.

Also as @Fast800 said, it's still too cold for pools (or the sea) unless your kids are really hardy. Very few places in Majorca have heated outdoor pools and they tend to be at the upper end of the price range. For guaranteed lying-by-the-pool weather you need the Canaries until May.

Can Pastilla is quite nice for families. It's quietish, no real clubs, attracts a varied, chilled international crowd and the beach is massive. On the other side of the bay is Arenal, the german version of Magaluf.
It's close to the aquapark (a short bus) and aquarium, a bus ride into palma and again, a bus ride from the Airport. Or €15 for a taxi.
