We are off to Greece for two weeks end of July, it’s a pool beach and sightseeing type of holiday. It’s a very hilly location, which we don’t mind but I’m clueless as to what foot wear to take ? As my normal sandals will not cut the mustard
..Also as we normally dont usually go for more than a week on hols …it may sound daft but am wondering do I just double up my normal hol packing? ..4 summer dresses to 8 etc …is there a better way ? I usually take far far too much. All advice appreciated 😀

If you'll be doing lots of hill walking I would either get a pair of walking sandals or a pair of well-made leather ones that are very comfy and secure on your feet - you don't want to be slipping and sliding around and risking injury.

I have a pair of Merrells for walking/hiking - they're practical and comfortable but not the most fashionable. I also have a pair of leather Toms sandals which are strong and well-made and good for walking on footpaths and in towns and cities. It depends how you like to dress and what kind of activities you'll be doing. IMO it's worth having a few pairs of sandals anyway - one for outdoorsy stuff, one smarter pair for evenings and a pair of flip flops for round the pool.

I’d get walking sandals - if you are planning to actually hike then some light walking shoes also as sandals let in little stones.

I’d normally just take enough for a week and wash it (leave to soak overnight) or put it in the hotel laundry. 4 dresses, 2 swimsuits, a pair of shorts and a couple of t-shirts would be loads.
