Lefkada

Looking for a holiday for August for 2 adults and keep coming back to Lefkada, Nidri specifically. Has anyone been fairly recently and can recommend? I’ve searched but all the posts are old.

Yes I went in 2022 fabulous resort/island, would go back to Lefkada (rarely go to the same place). If you like gorgeous scenery, lots of choice of bars/restaurants, friendly locals and a beach it's a winner.

I haven't been recently but had a great time there years ago. Lots of sailing and windsurfing if you like that sort of thing.

I haven’t been recently but really didn’t rate it at all, interesting to see the other replies! There are much prettier and nicer places in Greece - Dassia in Corfu, Kefalonia etc. I found Nidri really dull in comparison but maybe that’s just me!

Thank you for your replies - we’ve booked it as the apartment looked gorgeous and it was the one I kept thinking about.
If nothing else, I’m sure we’ll be plenty happy sitting reading in the sun and eating good Greek food!
