I hear it's beautiful. Has anyone been and got any recommendations?

I believe I can fly to Mykonos and get the ferry over.

Any recommendations for an adult holiday wanting relaxation and good food?

It’s a great island. Will you have a car or be using public transport? How long are you intending to stay? Syros is very close (20 mins) so you could do both.

@keepingsanity I find the TripAdvisor forum really useful when planning trips to Greece. Lots of very knowledgeable people on there. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowForum-g503711-i10185-Tinos_Cyclades_South_Aegean.html

@countdowntonap I'm a bit apprehensive about driving abroad as it depends on the road conditions but would consider it.

Thinking of just a week if this year but could do two next year.

The roads are quiet - but there are some hairpins and dirt tracks! The town would have the best food but you’d have to get public transport to the beach

My favourite place I’ve stayed in Tinos was Vega apartments. Lovely hosts and great views from the mountain setting https://vegaapartments.gr/en/

If you want beach relaxation, Naxos has the Chora and beach within walking distance of each other.

Alternatively, I’m going to stay on Koufinissi this year. Lots of great sounding restaurants in the Chora and you can get around the whole island on foot! I’m also flying into Mykonos.
