Family pub in Lancaster - anyone?

my friend and i are meeting up half way- she will be travelling south on the M6, we will be travelling north on the M6
we thought Lancaster would be a good half way meet

does anyone know of a family pub with play area not that far from the M6?

our friends live in Caton in Lancaster and there are some lovely family type pubs there (about 5 miles from M6 junction)

could you find out any names or directions for me Vicky?
