Hiya these websites offer villas to rent. I live in Gran Canaria so if you want to know more info on areas etc let me know what you are looking for.

Thanks ever so much. Will have a look. Do you know what the Cordial Apts in Mogan are like - have heard rumours that they're not yet built which makes me nervous!

Mogan is lovely very quite and not really touristy. It is on the far side of the island so its bout 45 mins to the busier places and to the local attractions etc

Hvent heard of the appartments and dont recall seeing them last time i was down there but it was a while ago and they have been building loads

After doing investigation The Cordial Hotel is up and running but the appartments are not. See this website for more details

Thanks so much, hopefully they should be up and running by xmas. One more question...We went to an amzing restaurant about 7 years ago which some locals told us about, between Puerto Rico and Mogan, on the main road, on the left driving west. They did incredible flambeed strawberries in honey rum which they did at your table. Do you know of it, and is it still there? Also, if you hvae any other good restaurant tips I wouldlove to know, both my husband and little bro are big foodies and would love to be able to take them to some nice local restaurants.
Thanks again,
Allie

I am not sure of the restaurant you mean but El Gauchos in PLaya del Ingles is one of our favourite restaurants in the south and Bali too (though this last one is indonesian cuisine)
