Looking to take away my DD 11 in the summer. Do you know any forums or groups which arrange holidays or meet ups with other kids?
DD likes company of others on holiday, I have thought about taking a friend of hers, however just wondered other options.

We are going to a single parents takeover at somewhere called Barnutopiain Shropshire - it’s a glamping site. Sounds really good fun and they do breakfasts and dinners and some activities so hoping the kids will really enjoy.

If you want more of an organised holiday then i can thoroughly recommend single parents on holiday as a company. Owners are fab and super helpful to chat to. Not cheap but without doubt some of the best holidays I’ve had as a single parent. I enjoy them as i also get company as an adult and have made some lifelong friends from it. It’s a good balance between having things organised but impressive to join in if you don’t fancy it.

Otherwise agree single parent takeovers are great. Or alternatively if you choose the type of holiday where lots of kids are mine usually make friends ( seems to be camping or AI type hotels though!).

I'd also like to know. Mine are 7 and 4. 😀

Thank you, I found the fb page for single parent takeovers and looking at options.

I guess if I find a holiday I like the look off I could ask on the hotel fb page if anyone is going with kids.
