I would be very grateful for any recommendations for a lovely hotel with lots to do (eg swim, walk a bit, sports maybe) in any country in Europe that is somewhere in the countryside, ideally near a lake and not too far from civilisation (unless there’s everything you need there!).
Austria would be an obvious place if it wasn’t snowing - we aren’t skiers. It would be two adults and a 4 year old so there needs to be stuff for small kids to do.
I would love your recommendations of lovely resort hotels (with a spa if poss) - comfort is a must!!
