Has anyone been to Lille and taken the metro from the Eurostar station, Lille-Europe?

Hi,
I'm planning a trip to Lille on the Eurostar, and there is potentially a very tight connection at Lille Europe station from the Eurostar to a different train at Lille-Flandres station. It's meant to just take 1 min on the Metro. Has anyone changed at Lille Europe from the Eurostar onto the Metro, please, and could tell me how easy or cumbersome that is- ages getting off the Eurostar platform, a million staircases and tunnels, or just say straight down in a lift and you're there?
Thank you- I appreciate any advice.

You can walk. It is practically next door. Just the shopping centre between the 2 stations. Maybe 3 minutes - go up to main concourse from the platform and follow the signs.

It will be quicker to walk, it's about 5 mins walk maximum

Ah thank you so much. If you say 3-5 min walk, is that literally from train door to train door? And there's clear signs along the way (I've never been to Lille before)?
Thank you so much, I really appreciate the insider knowledge!!

Yes, you get off the train on the platform, go up the steps or in the lift, leave one station and walk straight up the road to the other one where the trains are all at ground level. You need the exit where you go down the stairs to the giant flower sculptures rather than going up to the boulevard. Can't remember the name sorry but you'll see it so don't worry.

It would be much longer to get down to the metro, but a ticket, go down to the platform etc. it's all clearly signposted so should be fine.

Thank you so much. Alright - giant flowers is what I'll look out for!

It is really easy to find, keep on the outside of the mall, follow the flowers indeed and then after few minutes you have Lille Flandres on your left hand
