Hi there
So we are taking our 3 children to spain in July and was looking for recommendations for swim safety aids for the two youngest!
Nearly 4 year old - is a swim vest best?
And for a 10 month old would it be a swim seat?
I have no clue I get so anxious!!
What brands etc have people used? Tia

I buy from our local council leisure centre where I take my children swimming. They stock arms bands, swim vests, noodles, floats, goggles, swim toys etc.

Swim seats are not a great idea in outdoor pools, as they can flip in the wind. Same with some ring floats. The lifeguard at our hotel in Greece talked to parents using these kind of things and offered one of his vests. A suit with in built floats might be best for the baby, or as you will need to hold them anyway, a noodle might be better.

Mine always had a vest
However the most important thing we did was taking it in turn to be the 'one on watch'
That way you never assumed the other parent was watching them it was entirely your responsibility when it was your watch

I think vests are better as they can use their arms fully, and more comfortable
