Seaside resort near Lisbon - not Caiscais

Can anyone recommend a seaside town near Lisbon for a short break - approx 4 days. Anywhere other than Caiscais, but a similar vibe - bars, restaurants, sea swimming.

We are going in early June.

It’s lovely but we’ve been before and want to try somewhere new. I’d recommend it though.

I haven't been to these places since the early 2000s but when I lived in Portugal I used to visit them at the weekend.

I loved the southern beaches of Lisbon across the Tagus.

Sesimbra looks lovely! My sister loved Ericeira. It's a 45 minute transfer but way cheaper than Cascais. Lovely white buildings, cobbled streets, fab restaurants.
