Barcelona at easter

If you were going to Barcelona at Easter with a 10 year old for 4 days, what would you do?!

it’s all quite expensive so I’m thinking:
sagrada familia
parc guell
casa battlo

as the paid things we do

others - wander round, eat tapas, go to the beach ….? Anything else?

is it worth getting one of those tourist cards?
Do we need to buy a travel pass?

tia!

We did Barcelona at Easter a few years ago as well - it’s the absolute perfect time to go, less crowds than usual and just the right temperature to be walking around in. Your suggestions sound really good, we were all mesmerised by Casa Batllo!! We also did the Poble Espanyol which DD (a similar age at the time) enjoyed. There’s Port Aventura an hour’s train ride to Salou if your DD is in to that sort of thing but entry prices are quite expensive

I went last year with a 9 and 12 year old. They enjoyed the hop on hop off open top bus. We went to the Olympic stadium which was free and did a paid tour of the Camp Nou (Barcelona football club) which was their favourite thing as they are soccer mad. However, that is being rebuilt at the moment so Barcelona are playing at the Olympic stadium for the time
being. They also enjoyed the zoo and the aquarium.

This is random but take a table tennis set with you as they have table all over that you can play on for free!

I can't remember what it's called but there's a free evening fountain show to music which was good.

Food is amazing there!

We went at Easter and it was a great time of year. We wore jeans and tees although the locals all still had coats and scarves on!

the open tour bus was good but my favourite was the musical lit up fountain.

Thanks! Great suggestions - I remember the fountain from when I last went years ago but it is switched off at the moment because there is a drought

Has anyone used a tourist card - one of those ones they give you discounts on attractions and ‘free’ travel? I can’t tell if they’re worth it
