One night hotel in London

We live in London so have never needed a hotel, but we have a rare night of a babysitter so looking for a night away (London as we are going straight from work and want to be as quick getting there as possible). Around £250 a night, king bed minimum, feels luxurious, near good restaurants. Not Angel as we live there, or Shoreditch as we work there!

Any suggestions of a nice relaxing place you’ve stayed?

I really liked the Eccleston Square Hotel in Pimlico. Very luxurious rooms with really mod cons. Stunningly comfortable bed! The room was small but we did have a lovely balcony aswell.

Zetter townhouse?

My absolute favourite is The Marylebone Hotel. It's so lovely and in a fabulous location.

Thanks all for suggestions. Definitely want a proper hotel, room service a bonus for some getting ready cocktails!

How about Sea Containers on the South Bank? Both ground level and rooftop cocktail bars. Near enough to Borough Market for dinner

I’ve been there for lunch a few times, but I wasn’t that impressed. We do Borough Market a lot and I used to live there, I do like it though!
